The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers or IEEE (read eye-triple-ee) is an international, politically independent, non-profitprofessional organization for the advancement of technology related to electricity. It has the most members of any technical professional organization in the world, with more than 395,000 members in around 150 countries.
IEEE Student Branch Linz
We are a group of graduate and undergraduate students at the JKU Linz. Our fields of study range from mechatronics, computer science to physics. This IEEE student branch was founded to improve the cooperation between different research groups and allow for a closer networking between students, researchers, and lecturers. We try to achieve this by organizing talks and short courses, by holding our Stammtisch and other social activities.
