The student branches of Passau, Klagenfurt, Graz and Ljubljana will take part at our next Stammtisch. We will have a guided tour trough the Ars Electronica Center at 3 pm. For the guided tour a registration until Friday the 07. June under ieee.jku.at/ars is necessary.
The Stammtisch will start at 6 pm as a part of the KHG summer festival. Every member gets coupons for drinks and food.
On the 16th of May our traditional regular’s table took once again place in the KHG dormitory. Our special guest of the evening was the company Intel Mobile Communications Austria (DMCE). After a short introduction, Mr Dr. Burkhard Neurauter from DMCE gave us an interesting overview of the developments taking place at the company’s branch in Linz. Up to then, many of us didn’t know that this company settlement owns such a worldwide recognition.
Towards the end, the audience had a chance to ask questions to Mr Dr Burkhard Neurauter about research and economic topics.

We are proud to announce that as from the 15th of April 2013, we have our own IEEE Student Branch room (5th floor, Science Park 3, Number 510). It will be the place where we will hold our regular meetings and store our equipment.
We are very grateful to Mr Alexander Freischlager and Mr Emil Pop for organizing and providing us with the room. And of course, a big thank you goes to the Johannes Kepler University for supporting our IEEE Student Branch in Linz.
